Mark B. Goode, SIOR, CCIM

Mark has been involved in the commercial real estate industry since 1975.  He specializes in the development and acquisition of industrial properties and parks.  Recently Mark has been instrumental in the development of business parks representing more than 1,000 acres including Park 88 and Peace Corporate Center, both in DeKalb, and Gateway 57 in University Park.

He is the founding member of the I-39 Logistics Corridor Association, which spans a 10,000 square-mile area encompassing two states and 14 counties in Illinois and Wisconsin.  It encompasses 165 miles from Janesville, WI, on the north to Bloomington, IL, on the south, and 65 miles from Sycamore, IL, on the east to Sterling, IL, on the west.

Mark was formerly a Principal of Podolsky Northstar Realty Partners; a Managing Director at Stein & Company; and a Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Realty Advisors.  At all three firms, he managed the Investment Properties Groups and was responsible for transactions valued in excess of $3 billion.  His clients included First Industrial Realty Trust, Prologis Trust, Prudential Realty Group, MetLife Realty Group, AMLI Realty Co., and Panattoni Development Company.

Mark’s achievements have been recognized with numerous industry awards.  He was the recipient of SIOR’s “Largest Dollar Volume Investment Transaction-Inter City” in 2004, 2003, 2001, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996 and 1994.  He also won SIOR’s “National Award of Merit” in 1988 for a $39,000,000 transaction involving 19 properties in four states and the NAIOP Chicago Chapter’s “Broker Transaction of the Year for 1991” for a 1,350,000 SF sale of the former Hawthorne Works Complex in Chicago.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana).
